There’s a price to pay
For every close association
For family ties and knots that are undone
If you think you need
To be forever family
Brother sister uncle aunt and grandma too
Then that’s ok if all is well
In his house
It’s not ok to compromise his ways
Family baggage
It comes from an unknowing and unhealing
Family baggage
Will take you to a place
Where you don’t want to be
Family baggage
If they leave it all behind
It’s ok to pass the time with them
But if they bring it to the house
You must get out of that tree
Don’t forsake me
It’s time to go
Ok to visit
Don’t hang around that town
With family baggage
